The annual WI-A Conference will be held in Seoul, Korea, inclusive from 27 ~30 May 2007. The Conference aims to promote employment and vocational supports for persons with severe disabilities in Asia. In addition, it further aims to strengthen the capacities of the WI and WI-A members in working out the strategic goals and objectives nationally and internationally for future cooperation.
Both the WI & WI-A are committed to creating rights-based employment opportunities for persons with severe disabilities and others who might have been marginalized in this globalizing world of today.

With this in mind, we urge you to participate in the forthcoming Conference in Seoul by submitting your applications.
It is our expectation that the Conference will be used as a venue to consolidate the membership of the WI-A and the alliances of disability employment organizations through exchanges of information. Leaders, experts, academics and senior government officers will participate in the Conference from many regions of Asia and Europe in exploring and articulating wide ranging issues of disability employments for future policy developments.
